Love tacos? Put on your party sombrero and get ready for the Charlotte Tacos ‘N Taps festival. Happening on June 17th from 12 pm until 5 pm this festival will take you South of the Border for some foodie fun. This ALL-YOU-CARE-TO-TASTE beer and tequila festival offers up some of the area’s best Tacos and Mexican Food and will be at Ballantynes Backyard.
I attended the festival in Raleigh back in 2021 and it was so much fun. You can see my review here. This year, the festival will feature over 15 Taco Trucks, Taquerias, and Mexican Restaurants with over 30 different types of tacos. There will be a Mariachi Band, live music, contests, photo ops, and great boutiques you can shop offering breweriana, jewelry, hot sauces and so much more!
You can purchase a VIP ticket or a General Admission ticket to this event. General Admission tickets include a souvenir glass and boundless portions of over 60 craft beers, mezcals, and tequilas! All food is purchased a la carte. I recommend going for the VIP ticket which is only $75. This ticket offers an exclusive tasting experience. Each guest enjoys all of the benefits outlined, with 1 extra hour of tastings, 4 taco tickets, a souvenir glass and sombrero, limited admission, and some surprises. It’s worth the spend.
