I have always loved water parks. They are so much fun. You get to enjoy the thrill of an amusement ride and also play in the water. It truly is the best of both worlds.
Since moving to North Carolina, I have found that when the summer heat comes…you are going to want to cool off fast. With temperatures that can get over the 100s, I was on the search for a great water park to cool me down. Located in Greensboro North Carolina, Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe is an amazing place to spend the day.
The Cabana
On this trip to Wet ‘n Wild, both my significant other and I rented one of the Cabanas. There was a great view of the harbor from our cabana. The Harbor View cabanas are located in Happy Harbor and can accommodate a maximum of ten guests. If the park gets busy, you can relax in your cabana with a table and chairs all day. Cabanas are great because they are both private spaces as well as have waiter/waitress service. By doing this, you can enjoy your visit to the park without having to wait in long lines. It is important to note that a cabana rental does not include park admission.
Reservations for cabanas must be made online at least 24 hours before arrival, and check-in must be completed by 1 pm to avoid cancellation. If you rent a cabana, you can order food and drinks (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic). There is also a locker inside your cabana. I highly recommend renting one of these because the convenience is worth every penny. We ordered a light chicken Caesar and ranch wrap for our lunch. I always recommend keeping it light if you are swimming.
