Attending My First 2021 Festival at Seltzerland

Remember when we could just casually attend festivals? Yeah, me too. But truth be told, I actually really liked this way of attending a festival. What do I mean…well keep reading and you’ll find out.

Just like seltzers, festivals are one of my favorite things. I love being able to try a little something of everything (yes, I also love buffets don’t judge me) so I have been keeping my eye out for things to do since restrictions have loosened. A few weeks ago I saw a promotion for a festival called Seltzerland and how they were turning the golf course here in Charlotte, North Carolina into the ultimate hard seltzer paradise. It was held at the Paradise Valley Golf Course (110 Barton Creek Dr) on Saturday, April 17th so I snagged tickets, grabbed our masks, and attended the festival with my significant other this past weekend. (the first festival since COVID-19)

How It Went

When we arrived we received a swag bag filled with a souvenir sampling cup, water bottle (got to stay hydrated), and koozies. Each station was spaced out and entry was timed so social distancing could take place. People wore masks, were courteous and everyone was respectful. We both enjoyed sampling seltzers, and bacon, and getting out of the house in a socially distanced setting.

There were over 50 different types of seltzer to try and even included local brands. During our time at the festival, we successfully got a pic for the gram and took home our own swag bags and tasting glasses. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone who loves seltzer or just wants to get out of the house. By the way…this experience also gave me hope for the future and getting back to normal soon. I felt safe because it wasn’t overcrowded, I didn’t feel rushed because of the time slots and overall I just felt more relaxed I didn’t feel rushed and I had a lot of fun.

With Love,

Lex Paige
