Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo Exclusive Post-Pandemic Interview

Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo Exclusive Post-Pandemic Interview

I’ve worked in radio since 2015 and my job has given me some exciting opportunities over the years. Recently, I was able to interview Long Island Medium star, Theresa Caputo. First off, I might not have looked nervous….but inside I was fangirling. She is the famous TLC medium, New York Times bestseller and I was able to sit down with Theresa and discuss her life post-pandemic.

When I was younger (and still to this day) I watched Theresa with my mom on Long Island Medium and discuss the afterlife/spirituality. Now, the time has passed and my mom is no longer here in physical form. The world has changed and like so many of us, Theresa has learned to navigate the ‘new normal’ and turn this negative time into a positive. With her family by her side during the quarantine, she was able to turn a negative into a positive. Theresa has been able to connect with her fans on so many different mediums. Long Island Medium: There in Spirit is a new show on Discovery Plus and reveals how Caputo keeps her business going during the coronavirus pandemic using video chats. As we talked about COVID-19 and her spiritual connections, she mentioned “throughout this pandemic not knowing what happened to our loved ones final moments, similar to September 11, 2001, hearing spirits give validation that they were okay” those were the moments Theresa found healing.

As we continued to speak, I asked if there was a specific memory during the pandemic readings that has stuck with her. One story was of a mother who had tragically passed from COVID and a father who also left his wife and three daughters behind. During these readings, the messages were clear that even though some of us over the past year were not able to be with our loved ones, they passed without suffering and were not alone. One of my favorite moments during this interview was that Theresa made it clear that death is a part of life and it’s okay “not be okay sometimes.” For me, I often try to happy all the time (even on my bad days) but I learned by talking with her that bad days are “24-hours to get it together!” Wrapping up our interview, I wanted to know about the tour coming up (with two South Carolina dates) and how Theresa felt getting back to doing live shows. With a new intimate setting and enhanced health and safety protocols, fans will get to witness the messages of hope, faith, and peace which she is so excited to be doing once again.

Theresa is truly an incredible human being and I am so grateful that I was able to interview her. She gives hope to those in need and it is astounding. I encourage everyone to definitely check out Theresa‘s books, podcast, new tour The Platinum Experience, and of course Long Island Medium: There in Spirit on Discovery Plus. (I binge-watched the whole season in two days!) You can see tour dates and ticket information here. You can watch the full interview below.

With Love,

It’s comforting to see that regardless of who we are, we’re humans at the end and we all feel the same in one way or another. I kept myself sane by reminding myself that it’s okay not to be okay for the last year and that’s so relieving.
