Is there anything better than drinking beer and enjoying the fall weather? You’re in luck if you’re looking to celebrate Oktoberfest this year! Charlotte’s first Das Best Oktoberfest is coming to North Carolina, and you don’t want to miss it. On October 15th, you can party like you are in Germany with the Oompah, Oompah, and Oompah as the theme this year.
What You Can Expect?
First and foremost, you must be 21 years of age or older to attend this event. Next, during Charlotte’s first Das Best Oktoberfest, you can sample hundreds of craft beers, wines, ciders, and schnapps. You will be given a Souvenir Glass as you enjoy this day-long festival in beautiful Ballantyne’s Backyard. If you love music, you can listen to live rock and party music on the main stage and enjoy authentic Oompah bands on the Oompah stage which will also feature all contests.
Hungry? During the event, there will be several brat concessionaires who will be offering the best sausages and German food along with food trucks and your festival faves. Food will be purchased a la carte. If you like games and contests, you can enjoy cornhole, Masskrugstemmen (Beer Stein Holding Competition), and Fingerhakeln (Finger Wrestling Competition). All contests will take place on the Oompah Stage.
