About RIND Snacks

In the 1920s Helen Seitner was a passionate health food pioneer who opened her own natural foods store. The Stay-Well health shop carried all sorts of produce, flours, bulk seeds, and nuts.

Helen was ahead of her time in focusing on the power of whole foods. She refused to carry white flour in the store, only whole wheat. She’d purchase 100-pound bags of carrots for juicing and, most importantly, she insisted on letting nothing go to waste. It was this last piece of advice that left the greatest impression on the founder of RIND Snacks. A century on, we honor Great Grandma’s legacy with an authentic and wholesome snack she would’ve loved.

I was a little skeptical at first, but once I took a bite, I was sold. I was gifted the orchard, kiwi, coco melon, and straw-peary RIND snacks to try out. You can munch on the apple peels in the RIND Straw-Peary pack, filled with sweet strawberries, bosc pears, and red apples. The addition of more fiber to your diet is also linked to a healthier gut, lower obesity rates, and lower rates of heart disease. The Kiwi Pack was my personal favorite. They were delicious!
