For some people, the only place they can find some “peace” during their crazy day is in their bathroom. If you are one of those people, I feel you and I get it. I too have had many days where the only safe space for me is soaking in my bathtub. The calming scent of lavender, the warm embrace of the water touching my skin. First I need to say this but I am obsessed with the Lloyds Of La Luna logo. The beauty of the moon and floral accents really spoke to me. It gave me this immediate balance of peace and groundedness. For me personally, this was a comforting welcome to the brand and invited me to get ready to relax and unwind. Inside my package, I received three products including a cream lotion, vegan soy candle, and a natural bar of soap to review for all of you. The cream lotion was a Cranberry Rhubarb lotion ($7) and smelled amazing. Using a tiny dime size drop was more than enough to get soft hands that smelled fruity with a dash of cinnamon. The vegan soy candle ($4) was a White Tea & Pear scent that was my favorite of all the products. I think soy candles burn the cleanest and even being a tin size they filled my whole living room with a clean, fresh scent.
Since these are made in small batches, this is currently the only scent available for online purchase here. The natural bar of soap was the Persephones Kiss natural bar of soap ( currently on sale for $2) and I loved the unique colors and sparkles incorporated in the soap. It has a subtle coconut smell which is very pleasant and you can snag it here. I loved how all of these products complemented each other and made with so much love and care.
Also, I received an informational card about how to care for my natural soap which fun fact, told me to keep my bar in a dry place after uses to preserve it. I actually didn’t know this, but natural soaps are high in glycerine which is great for your skin but attracts water. If you leave your natural soap in a soap dish that fills with water, it will not properly drain well and your soap will break apart. I found this extremely helpful and appreciate the extra thoughtfulness Lloyds Of La Luna put into including it in the package.
I think Lloyds Of La Luna is a perfect company to give as a gift to yourself or someone you love. They have so many different types of soaps available on their website so you can find and I love the unique natural soap shapes. If you know you are having guests over, this would be the perfect addition to their bathroom or even as a thank you gesture.
