How I Met the Jonas Brothers and Fulfilled One of My Childhood Dreams

Disney Channel was my thing. I loved me some Hannah Montana, a big fan of High School Musical and of course, the Jonas Brothers. They were the coolest, cutest and most talented brothers I had ever seen. They were magical.

But soon, I grew up. And though as I grew up so did they, I never forgot about our Year 3000 and Camp Rock days. And guess what? Luckily, Jo bros didn’t’ forget about me either. Cue the Disney music and confetti, because nearly a decade later, it was finally my time to relive my childhood with my three main guys. But let me be clear, I never imagined it would have been like this…

The Jonas Brothers brought their Happiness Begins Tour to Charlotte, North Carolina and I thought I was just going to attend the concert. But thanks to the good Lord himself and some perks at work, I didn’t just see the concert, I EXPERIENCED IT! Some coworkers and I got to hang out in Nick Jonas’ Villa One Lounge and enjoyed some drinks, snacks, and fun photo booths before the show and I felt straight up #blessed.

After hanging out in the lounge for a bit, it was time to…drum roll…meet the JONAS BROTHERS. At this point, my life felt pretty complete. I have met their dad before (Paul Kevin Jonas) and I have met Joe before (DNCE interview in 2017) but I had never met them all together as the official Jonas Brothers band. Once the concert started (actually even before) the screaming was unanimous. Fans were as enthusiastic about the new material as they were over favorite songs such as “Fly With Me” and “Lovebug” it was great. The brothers performed their more lighthearted tunes as well, like “Year 3000,” with the same amount of swagger they carry on their new tunes, like the smooth “Only Human.” To be frank, all the songs, all the dancing all of the concert was freaking amazing to me.

I had such an amazing time at this concert and I can’t say thank you enough to everyone who helped me have this unforgettable experience. My inner child was shining (especially when they played Year 3000) and

With Love,
