Lipstick Junkie Subscription Box: Pucker Up with this Unboxing Review!

Lipstick fanatics, I’m about to shake up your life with this review!

What is Lipstick Junkie?

Lipstick Junkie Box is a monthly subscription box curated just your lips. Monthly you will receive a box with three to four high-quality lip products for the low price of $18 a month. That’s a steal if you think of how much a single lipstick costs. It comes in a cute themed box (shown below) with everything packaged and ready to use.

The Lex Paige Review

I love me some makeup. I must admit though, my everyday lipstick is nonexistent because I always forget to put it on. I normally rock a basic lip moisturizer, but this box took me out of my comfort zone which I am always game for. The products I received were the Nügg Beauty Happy Lips Balm ($10.99), Luna by Luna Lip Crayon in Pandora ($18) and Phase Zero Makeup Liquid Matte Vegan Lipstick in Bad Habit ($18). The value for all of the items was around $46.99 which is way over the price of the monthly box. I listed out each product below with more details. P.S. I love me some cruelty-free and vegan products (I have a bunny) and all these products were bunny friendly in this box!

Nügg Beauty Happy Lips Balm: First off, this balm is packaged in the coolest golden metallic sphere. It is a cruelty-free and all-natural product and goes on super smoothly. It is not sticky at all (which most lip balms tend to be) and it kept my lips soft all day. There are no preservatives, parabens, mineral oil, sulfates, synthetic fragrances or colors. I now keep this in my purse and religiously apply it. #LipWin

Luna Luna Lip Crayon in Pandora: Normally not a big fan of lip crayons, but this one happily surprised me. This is a cruelty-free product (yay!) and it has a highly pigmented red color to it. It is a twist-up (so no sharpening) and it went on pretty smoothly.  It wasn’t my favorite product because it was a bit hard to get off after wearing it for a day (I used lipstick remover) but it was fun to wear to spice up my look.

Phase Zero Makeup Liquid Matte Vegan Lipstick in Bad Habit: I give this lipstick mad points for being cruelty-free and the color is stunning! It’s hard to find matte lipsticks that are this perfect, but it was. I love me a matte lipstick that dries nicely so thank you Lipstick Junkie for including this product in this month’s box. I received a bunch of compliments at work when I wore it and even showed it off in one of my photoshoots. This was by far my favorite product from the box.

I would recommend trying out this subscription box if you love trying out new lip products. It makes a great gift for yourself, boss or fellow makeup lover. Lipstick Junkie ships worldwide for a flat rate of $9, Canda $7 and shipping is FREE in the U.S.!

With Love,

Lex Paige
