Companies that give back, especially to women, are extremely important to me. This is how the Anchor of Hope Box came into my life, and I want to share with all of you how this box is helping to change and empower women locally and globally.
About the Anchor of Hope Box
Anchor of Hope Box is a purpose-driven subscription company that partners with refugees, survivors of human trafficking, and individuals in vulnerable situations around the world. These artisans create beautiful, handmade items, earning a fair income through dignified work. This approach helps them rebuild their lives, gain independence, and move forward from incredibly difficult circumstances. At its core, Anchor of Hope isn’t just about products; it’s about empowerment, community, and hope.
How the Anchor of Hope Box Works
Each month, your box will contain three quality, handmade items, along with an information card about the products and the artisans who made them. During this process, the company works closely with a group of local women, teaching them a new skill and paying them fairly for their craftsmanship. In addition, Anchor of Hope partners with organizations across the globe that share the same mission of empowering vulnerable communities. By combining products from multiple artisan groups, each box tells a powerful global story while delivering high-quality, handmade goods to subscribers.
These partnerships include:
- Survivors of sex trafficking in India and other parts of Asia
- Women in Haiti are working to support their families and keep their children in school
- Refugee women in the United States are learning skills like sewing and jewelry-making
April Anchor of Hope Box Review
I was lucky enough to receive a box for April to share with all of you. The April Anchor of Hope Box focused on themes of connection and joy, featuring ethically sourced, fair-trade, handmade items. I actually loved how it was only three items because you can tell the care and love that went into curating the items within the box. Below is a breakdown of what was in this month’s box.

Savory Spiced Chips: Talk about delicious! My fiancé and I enjoyed these small-batch, vegan chips. They are handmade in the United States and inspired by the bold flavors of Lagos, Nigeria. Created by an immigrant women-owned business, they aim to bring authentic African flavors to a wider community of food lovers. Made with all-natural ingredients, they were a delicious and unique addition to the box.
Essential Oil Roll-On: I loved the smell of this essential oil. It was calming, and breathing it in gave a subtle sense of relaxation. This handcrafted essential oil roll-on supports a powerful mission. Produced in the United States, each purchase helps provide safe housing, healthcare, therapy, and employment for women rebuilding their lives after trauma. It’s a simple product with a deeply meaningful impact.
Spring Bow Earrings: I loved the colors I received, blue is my favorite, but there were several beautiful options other subscribers received. These earrings are handmade through a meaningful collaboration between artisans in Rwanda and refugee women in the United States. Each pair reflects both local and global impact, supporting women as they rebuild their lives through creative work.
The Lex Paige Reaction
I absolutely loved everything in this month’s box, but what made it truly special was the story behind each item. The Anchor of Hope Box isn’t just about beautiful products; it’s about purpose. Every piece reflects a deeper mission, creating opportunities, restoring dignity, and spreading hope to communities around the world. This is so important to share, and the box is only $36 per month, and it also makes a great gift! If you’re searching for a subscription box that offers more than just a fun unboxing experience, one that aligns with ethical values and contributes to meaningful change, this is something truly worth discovering. You can purchase your first box here. It’s a small way to make a big impact, and I can’t recommend it enough.
With Love,
Lex Paige
