At Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe, Summer Fun Is Guaranteed

I’ve always had a soft spot for water parks. They’re a blast – you can experience the thrill of a thrilling ride while splashing around in the water. It’s the best of both worlds. Since relocating to North Carolina, I’ve come to realize that when the summer heat hits, finding a way to cool down quickly is a must. That’s why my top pick is to head over to Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe.

Situated in Greensboro, North Carolina, Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe is an incredible place to spend your day. It’s one of the biggest water parks in the state and is a popular destination for families and adventure-seekers alike.

About The Park

A variety of water rides and attractions are available at the park, including slides, wave pools, and a lazy river. There are so many new photo opportunities and attractions this year, including the renovated gift shop and Grab n’ Go station. I love this new grab-n-n-go’ go station because you can get yourself a quick refresher with either a smoothie or coffee. The newest attraction is the three-tunnel Bermuda Triangle. As you enter the tunnel, you are treated to lights and music that were completely rethemed with this ride. It was so cool and I recommend you try all three slides!

No matter how shallow the water is, Wet’n Wild has lifeguards available. This ensures your safety while swimming. Life jackets are also available everywhere if you need one. Children’s sizes are available, and they are free as well. I recommend one if you are going further out in the wave pool. I also recommend wearing shoes you can easily take on and off. Rides do not allow them. Also, don’t wear any heavy jewelry, or hats, and keep your sunglasses on a strap.

The Cabana

The first thing I recommend to anyone visiting is to get a cabana. You receive so much private space, lockers, and service that it’s worth the price. This time our cabana was located in Happy Harbor. Avoid waiting in long lines during your park visit by renting a cabana. Please keep in mind that cabana rental does not cover park admission.

H2Go Pass

If you are not about waiting in lines, you are about to love this. The rental building across from the Gift Shop has a new feature this year called the H2Go pass. This is where guests can get H2Go passes which is a virtual queuing system that waits in line for you. Your H2Go Pass can be managed through your phone or wristband.  All you need to do is select the attraction and once your countdown has reached zero, you will be alerted that your reservation is ready. You are now free to enter through the H2Go entrance at the reserved attraction. You can enter when your reservation is ready, or any time after, making the most of your day. The H2Go Pass does not grant admission into the park. There is more information about this on their website here.

The Lex Paige Reaction

The park’s Bombs Away, Dare Devil’s Drop, Soak Zone, and Bermuda Triangle rides are some of my favorites. If you happen to be searching for a more relaxed and tranquil experience, the park offers an array of lazy rivers and wave pools for your pleasure. My favorite go-to spot is the Lazy River, where I can fully unwind and soak up the warm rays of the sun while peacefully floating along the gentle current.

Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe is not just a haven for water enthusiasts, but also a great place to grab a bite. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of trying their scrumptious chicken fingers, fries, and delectable ice cream. The park boasts a vast selection of food stands that cater to any guest’s taste-bud preference. I highly recommend watching my video review for more on my experience.

Overall, I highly recommend taking a day this Summer and visiting Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe. You can see more about planning a trip to Wet n Wild Emerald Pointe Water Park here. Reminder, no outside food or drink is permitted in Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe. You can bring unopened water bottles. Be sure to check out their Instagram to see all the fun rides and summer fun.
With Love,
Lex Paige
