Six years ago today, I woke up, and my best friend was gone. As time has passed, life has moved on.
I still get angry, I still laugh thinking about things we did and memories we had. There are days when I am sad, and there are days when all I feel is blessed. My mom was a special person. She was strong, smart, and spirited,ual and nobody would ever replace her. I like to think she’s watching me every day and is proud of the woman I am becoming. I like to think I survive to continue telling her story, and she helps me create mine.
I wish I could say it gets easier as time passes, but we all know the answer to that. I will forever take the love my mother showed me and continue to share it with the world. Every day I miss my mom, and every day I know she’s with me. I love youMomom.
