I received the October Home Fragrance Collection subscription box complimentary to review for all of you. This box included full-size and sample wax melts handmade by The Fairy Hideout in the following scents listed below.
Butterscotch Marshamellow Wax Melts: this was a full-size product. It is a sweet and gooey marshmallow scent with a creamy milk top note, middle notes of caramelized sugar, and top notes of powdered sugar, vanilla, and lusciously smooth butterscotch.
Butter Rum Cappuccino Wax Melts: A steaming mug of frothy dark Cappucino with a splash of warm buttery rum. This scent is strong, bold, warm, and yummy.
Werewolf Wax Shot: This was a sample-size product. It is an early signature of patchouli and spiced wood that leads to a base of warm animal tones. Leather and musk balance with balsamic undertones as hints of powdery vanilla complete the blend.
Poison Apple Wax Shot: This was a sample-size product. This is a fun Fall fragrance and begins with top notes of crispy apple, pineapple, and zests of orange; followed by middle notes of neroli and cinnamon. This scent is embroidered with base notes of sandalwood, fresh must, bamboo and patchouli.
Love spell Wax Shot: This was a sample-size product. This scent is notes of bergamot, peach, strawberry, apple blossom, African tamarind, Damask rose, tonka bean, coconut milk, and white musk.
I may have become obsessed with wax melts because of this box. The scents in the October box smelled great, the Poison Apple being my favorite, and you can’t find these scents in the store. The scents filled my whole apartment and put me in an autumn mood which I loved. When I used the sample melts, I broke them apart before allowing them to meltdown. I recommend doing this so your burner doesn’t overflow. The melts all burned evenly and I was able to get around four uses out of the products. I am very impressed with this subscription box and my home smells amazing thanks to these wonderful wax melts.
This box sells for $30 and you’ll get new scents every month. I think this box is a great way to try out some unique scents and safely receive them right to your door.
