A Greener Home with House Plant Box: A Monthly Plant Subscription Box

For someone who doesn’t have much of a green thumb, I am a completely open book on any plant tips.

What is House Plant Box?

Shipped straight from California, for only $12 a month you can get new plants right to your door. House Plant Box comes in a total of five different options including the House Plant Box, Pet-Friendly Box, Succulent Box, Premium House Plant Box, and Air Plant Box.

The Lex Paige Reaction

My House Plant Box came within two days of shipping and was carefully packed with all the right protection. The plants I received were a Dracaena, Peperomia, and two Calatheas. All four of my plants arrived safely, which the company guarantees. All my plants arrived in small plastic pots and were wrapped neatly in brown butcher paper. This helped to ensure the leaves would stay nice and safe.

Next, I purchased some cute pots from Ikea and Home Depot, and by following the guide provided, replanted my plants. The final step, watering and placing the plants in the right lighting and that’s it! You can check out some of my planting photos below. (My boyfriend did help me repot the pants as well.)

I truly love how House Plant Box provides you with all the information you need to succeed. If you are like me and lack plant-care education, the instruction manual sent with each plant is extremely helpful. I do wish the company would label each plant (they came with the names on the order sheet but not each pot) because I did have to ask my plant-enthusiast friend which plant was which. I could have also could have looked on the website to find the names of my plants, so just keep that in mind if you get multiple plants as I did.

After receiving these plants, I now want more! They are a perfect way to add some green to your home and truly make a space more a home. So whether you want to add some green to your office space, home, or gift someone the gift of green, House Plant Box is a subscription box service you want to try. Even if a subscription service is not for you (though this is a great value) you can also place a one-time plant order. They have great plants, great customer service and I truly loved this box. Be sure to follow House Plant Box on Instagram and Facebook!

With Love,

Lex Paige
