Never originally intending to become a full-time designer, designing chose Cristal Cox in 2002 and since then her line has blossomed into the BOMB! A natural passion for fashion was what drove her to create, it has become Cristal’s American dream and mission to create a successful brand which is known as, Cherry Bomb Swimwear.
What is Cherry Bomb Swimwear?
Cherry Bomb is a multifaceted brand that embodies different emotions and moods. Filled with rhythm and passion, almost lyrical. It’s a sweet and spicy mix of Rock-n-Roll, pin-up, and futuristic fashion! Cherry Bomb is a reflection of music, people, and art. Merging the past, present, and the future.
Cherry Bomb Swimwear came to be because her main niche’ in fashion was Swimwear! Having a true flair for designing cool, edgy styles that aren’t typical, Cristal says, “It is almost like my creativity spills onto the page and draws itself.” With an abundance of designs in many areas of fashion, Cherry Bomb’s swimwear line is uniquely different from the rest. Cristal’s design elements are meant to be edgy, sassy, and even couture, which is why I adore them!
Last year, I was actually fortunate enough to model one of Cherry Bomb’s swimsuits, Sweet Emotion, which had a cropped halter with mesh inset detailing and boy short bottoms. This suit had just the right amount of Sugar and Spice to feel like everything’s nice and I loved wearing it!
Cherry Bomb’s plans for 2018 are based on a crowdfunding campaign and female empowerment. The brand is currently trying to can grown and Cristal is also foreseeing a business partner that has a passion for this industry and that’s ready to be part of something great!
