In May 2013, Ryan Palmer & Dave Pickard met for coffee in Leadenhall Market, London, and came up with the electrifying idea; to make it easy for modern gentlemen to express themselves through stylish, colorful accessories, as Victorian gentlemen did. Their entrepreneurial journey began simply with observation; that people really do notice the socks you wear. (Hmm…Yes Please!)

What Makes the Socks SO Amazing?

Using the highest needle count possible to ensure your socks are as tough as old boots, The London Sock Company uses current knitting machines which they program with dandy-approved designs and filled with multiple yarn colors, and there you go! I can ensure you, with this process, the socks are of the highest which makes them so amazing.

Working with The London Sock Company was such a privilege for me. This company is classy and adorable which are two things I love. Though it caters to men, I wanted to write a piece on them because not only is this a PERFECT gift for that special gent in your life, but girls can rock them too. As far as delivery goes, I received my package from overseas in only four days, and let me tell you the packaging is as classy as the product. Coming perfectly packaged in a matte black box labeled with the company’s dashing men logo; The London Sock Company certainly knows how to impress and treat its clientele. After receiving three complementary pairs including, British Racing Green, Rich Burgundy, and East India Saffron socks, I can honestly tell you these socks are the real deal. Keeping the British Racing Green for myself and giving the other two pairs to a couple of close male friends to try for a true gentlemen’s perspective, I must say the socks were comfortable, breathable, and left me with no negative opinions on them.

And the Male Perspective…?

My two male testers and friends, Nik and Carston, actually went to France, Germany, and even London with these pairs of socks this past week. The socks in Nik’s perspective, are the perfect combination of classy and casual; making them ideal for work and everyday life. The socks give him that extra edge to stand out in a ‘baller’ way and Carston couldn’t have agreed more! Carston who wore the East India Saffron pair said he loved the vibrant coloring and dapper logo, and in the end, the two both gave The London Sock Company an A+.
