It’s no secret that I love sweets. And if you know me, you are already aware that my number one choice is chocolate, especially French chocolates! That is why when zChocolat got in touch with me and offered to send me my very own box of fifteen gourmet chocolates, I was beyond excited to share with my readers all about them and their extraordinary tastes.
To start us off, I always like to give a little backstory on the company I am reviewing. For those of you who don’t know, zChocolat is a luxury chocolate business that offers the most delicious selections of chocolates you could ever wish for. Of course, my package arrived the day it says it would and it was most certainly handled with the utmost care.
When I opened the package I was pleasantly surprised to discover the packaging was, to put it bluntly, wonderful! Inside my package was a canvas bag with a zChocolat log, a reusable box, and a little message just for me! My message was from Margaux who was kind enough to send me these delightful chocolates to review. Of course, my chocolates were in there too; all wrapped up in a signature box.
Now since these are chocolates, the temperature must be consistent in order to preserve the chocolates. So as I learned, zChocolat uses temperature-controlled packaging with cloistered containers and refrigerant packs to maintain a stable temperature until delivery. (Now that’s how I like my chocolates delivered!)
My individual box contained fifteen assorted chocolates 0-11 plus three Z pieces that are identified with unique numbering and lettering. (The ZBOX Traditional Assortment) These numbers and letters on the top tell you which piece contains what with the help of zChocolat’s informational book that comes with every order. After indulging myself in these fifteen mouthwatering chocolates with the help of a few friends, I found that out of my personal traditional assortment, the Venezuelan dark chocolate ganache (number 5) the Carmel White Chocolate covered crunchy praliné (White Chocolate Z), and Venezuelan Dark Chocolate with almonds (number 10) was my top three favorites!
