I have always found tan skin attractive and personally always felt better when I was a tanner. When I was younger, I use to get jealous of my father because for some reason he was blessed with evenly tanned skin year-round; and I, unfortunately, was not. Since then, it has been a goal of mine to get as tan as he always was…and stay that way! For several years, I use to frequently use indoor tanning beds to achieve the golden color I wanted.
However, I quickly came to realize that giving up my wallet and especially my health to get the great tan I wanted, wasn’t the smartest option for me. Therefore, for a few years, I’ve refrained from using indoor tanning beds and switched to using UV-Free tanning methods.
Originally, I figured UV-Free tanning would be easier, healthier than, and just as effective as UV-tanning; however, I soon found out there were a lot of products and very few lasting results. I must have tried over a hundred different products from self-tanning lotions, bottle sprays, and even automated indoor spray tanning machines; yet never felt like I was getting the results I was paying for. That’s why when I was asked if I was interested in getting an organic mobile spray tan; I figured this may be the answer to my prayers, and guess what…it was!
I have never in my life received a personal airbrush spray tan by a tanning professional; so this experience was all new to me. I wasn’t sure what preparations I needed before the spray tan, (what to wear or even how the process worked) however thanks to Christina Impellizeri, a certified Bronzedberry Tanning Artist, I was quickly assured that during my first professional organic spray tan experience, I would be fully prepared. I was surprised to find that the week before my spray tan, Christina provided me with a pamphlet of “Do’s and Don’ts” before getting my Bronzedberry on. I was thankful for this information because it helped me feel fully set for my new tanning experience. After reading the information, the following week I met with Christina for my tan!
One of the best parts of Bronzedberry Tans is the convenience of its services. Rather than going to a salon or having to buy products in-store or online, Christina came to me and provided me with everything I needed in the comfort of my own space. She was able to set up all the spray tanning equipment right there in our Charlotte office and any other tanning products I needed, she was able to provide right there in person! During the spray tan, I received both hydration and color on my skin; which felt and looked amazing! Christina used color blending techniques which created the most flawless, evenly distributed spray tan I have ever received. The process took about twenty minutes, with a six-minute dry session and in the end, I was streak-free with a natural-looking tan.
