If your hair looks dull, you feel dull. Or at least that’s how it is for me. And as someone whose hair grows darker as they get older, I like to freshen up my look with color during the year. But, since moving to Charlotte, I’ve had a pretty difficult time finding the right salon that made me feel good, and it is a bit stressful. That’s where Locks & Lashes came to the rescue.
A little bit about the salon before I tell you about my experience, Locks & Lashes specializes in hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair color, and cutting. Located on Park Road, it’s a great option for someone looking for great stylists that do fabulous work here in Charlotte, NC. They offer great deals (one shown below) and have some serious hair skills.
For my first visit, I wanted to clean up my dull hair. With the last time I got my hair highlighted and treated professionally being in August of this year, I was due for some hair TLC. My stylist during my visit was Elizabeth and she sat down with me before we started for a hair consultation and to understand the vision I had for my final outcome.
This go-around, I wanted to even out my ends, break up some of the summer blonde highlights with some lowlights, but also keep some natural blonde throughout my hair. Elizabeth was personable, knowledgeable, and certainly made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process.
I LOVE my highlights, lowlights, and cut correction that Elizabeth did. As you can see from my before and after photos, my hair looks more natural, evenly blended, and healthier! Elizabeth even fixed up my cut with a slight trim (literally only a few centimeters) to correct my uneven length. Overall, I can say nothing but positive things about my experience with the staff and service at the salon.
