Each year, it is creatively redesigned to provide a fresh experience. The maze features thrilling twists and turns that challenge even the most experienced navigators. With your ticket, you gain access to a vibrant selection of family-friendly fall activities. We love the delightful Kersey Valley Express Train. This whimsical ride circles the property and offers stunning views of all the fall festivities happening around us. The sounds of laughter and the smiles on my fiancé’s and brothers-in-law’s faces showed that this ride is a timeless experience. It instantly puts you in the fall spirit! Afterward, we enjoyed refreshing snow cones. We explored the enchanting pumpkin patch and hopped onto the moo-cow train. We even cheered for the adorable participants in the new pig races. Each moment was filled with joy and excitement, making it a perfect autumn day!

The soap slide is hands down my favorite (I could do it for hours)! For those who love a little extra adventure, gem mining is a must. We didn’t do it this time around, but it’s a small add-on and worth it. You can sift through dirt to find beautiful gems, stones, and fossils. If you’re visiting with little ones, they’ll love the pumpkin patch, corn crib, and farm games scattered throughout the property. The whole place feels like a fall playground, making it a top pick for family-friendly fall activities in North Carolina.

Let’s be honest, half the fun of any fall festival is the food. Kersey Valley Maize Adventure certainly delivers. My top recommendation? The apple cider donuts. They’re warm, soft, and absolutely delicious. I get them every year. They never disappoint. They are sold by the dozen, so you can share if you’d like!
I was also excited to see that they added a specialty coffee station, complete with pumpkin spice lattes and iced coffee options, a dream come true for coffee lovers like me. My fiancé enjoyed his annual snow cone, and we all shared some funnel cake and homemade fudge from the on-site shops. The aroma alone will have you craving seconds!
