At the heart of Kersey Valley Maize Adventure is its impressive 10-acre corn maze, which is redesigned each year to keep things fresh and exciting. This year’s maze features a butterfly theme, adding an extra layer of fun and challenge as you navigate your way through towering corn stalks.
Kersey Valley Maize Adventure is so much more than just a corn maze, it’s a place for all-day family fun. When you buy your admission ticket, you’re getting access to a wide range of family-friendly activities that guarantee hours of fun for all ages. One of the top highlights is the Kersey Valley Express train, a charming ride around the grounds that offers a scenic view of all the attractions. It’s one of my personal favorites—there’s something timeless about a good train ride, and this one never disappoints. They also have a pumpkin patch and a super cute corn stall for little ones to play in.
The Best Family Fun Activities
My second favorite is the soap slide. I could legit ride down this all day. The giant jumping pillows bring out the inner child in everyone too and if you love a little competition, the pedal carts provide an exciting way to race your friends. They also have an adorable cow train for younger visitors (adults can ride it too!). With so many options, there’s no shortage of entertainment for families, making it one of the top fall destinations in North Carolina.
If you know me, you know I have a soft spot for gem mining, and Kersey Valley has one of the best setups for it. I had to throw this in there because, with so much to do, it can be easily missed. It is an extra fee, but I highly recommend doing it! There’s something magical about sifting through dirt and finding hidden treasures like sparkling gems and colorful stones. It’s a relaxing yet exciting activity that adds a whole new dimension to your day at Kersey Valley.

This year they added a specialty coffee station too with pumpkin-spiced coffee. It’s delightful; I enjoyed mine iced. My significant other loves snow cones too, so we snagged one of those like last year too. They also have a fudge shop and a funnel cake station if you love sweet treats like me.
