7 Amazing Waterfalls You Need to Visit in North Carolina

Point blank, I love waterfalls and luckily I live in a state that is FULL of them! On this list, I have been to Looking Glass Falls, Sliding Rock, High Falls, Triple Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Hooker Falls…but trust me, the other three are my next to explore.

I’m not sure if it’s watching the crashing water, swimming in a natural pool, or just the sense of adventure that attracts me to these beautiful creations, but waterfalls have a way to my heart and I will always go crashing them. And with that, I hope if you decide to visit one of these magnificent falls in NC, they find a home in your heart too.

Upper Whitewater Falls (Nantahala National Forest, NC)

Dry Falls (Nantahala National Forest, NC)

High Shoals Falls (South Mountain State Park, NC)

Skinny Dip Falls (Pisgah National Forest, NC)

Sliding Rock (Pisgah National Forest, NC)

Looking Glass Falls (Pisgah National Forest, NC)

High Falls, Triple Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Hooker Falls (DuPont State Forest)

With Love,
