The Ins and Outs to Make Your Blog Thrive

The Ins and Outs to Make Your Blog Thrive

As a new blogger, I oftentimes get a bit overwhelmed by comparing myself to bloggers who are experienced veterans in the field of blogging. Though, on my own, I have come to understand some ins and outs of how to make your blog thrive; creating my success. With the right hosting platform, ad placement, affiliate programs, and sponsored content; I have managed to generate thousands of new views, work with hundreds of brands, and create a brand for myself all in a little over a year.

First, you need to get yourself a blog

There are many hosting companies out there, but for a WordPress site, Bluehost should be at the top of anyone’s list. Bluehost is the only hosting service officially recommended by WordPress and has been the number-one recommended hosting service for its platform for almost 10 years. (Read my article on How to Start Your Blog in Less Than 5 Minutes HERE!) Hosting my blog on Bluehost allowed me to monetize and customize my blog and is the only platform I 100% recommend to anyone looking to start the blogging process.

Implement ADS & Affiliate Programs

Applying to Google AdSense is a must. Even though it will take a while to see major results, adding Google AdSense and implementing them in widgets on the sidebars and footers of your new website will help boost your credibility and earn you some extra, easy cash.

Affiliate marking will help you gain viewers, speed up your sales (If you are selling something), and leverage your numerous media platforms in a fraction of the time. I am a part of affiliate programs that help me generate revenue with my blog and are listed on my website as badges.

Sponsored Content and Media Kits

I am a big, big fan of sponsored content. With my blog, sponsored posts both paid and trade agreements are how I’ve come to draw my line in the blogging community. I love writing content on brands that I stand by and can share with my readers. To be able to work with brands and companies that I love is all because of my credibility which you too will build. To showcase that credibility and further be able to produce sponsored content, you need a media kit. I send my media kit to companies showcasing all that LexPaige.com entails.

With all my relevant information including my monthly visitors, social media links, overview and list of previous sponsors, and verified affiliate programs; companies can see in detail what my website is about, why they should work with me, and how it’s beneficial to both parties.

With Love,

Lex Paige
