Finding the right scrubs and powders can be difficult. For those of you who don’t know or need a refresher, made from the comfort of her own home, Homemade by Hanna is a product line that is created from start to finish with love and care.
Originally opening in April of 2015, Homemade by Hanna is a small local company in North Carolina making seasonal homemade items including crafted scrubs and powder that I am excited to share with all of you.
Sweet & Salty Scrubs: Currently Homemade by Hanna offers two Sweet & Salty Scrubs including Peppermint Scrub and Citrus Scrub. These scrubs are both organic and contain a combination of salt. Essential oils, vitamin E, almond oil, avocado oil, and a blend of sugars.
I really loved the exfoliating properties of these two scrubs. I am a huge fan of exfoliating scrubs because my skin is prone to sebums, and these scrubs helped to regulate and remove that unwanted oil on my skin and smooth my skin. The smell of the peppermint wasn’t my favorite though it was very faint, however, I am not a big fan of peppermint so I may be a little bias. The citrus scrub was my favorite out of the two, with a cleaning and refreshing scent, and overall they both worked wonderfully.
Powder: I have never tried organic powder before, but with a simple combination of arrowroot, cornstarch, ground lavender, and lavender buds; this powder is great as a dry shampoo for your hair (which I used it for) and even as a redness remover. This product comes in a small portion but trusts me it lasts. Please be advised this product is made to order and does not contain talc.
