Falling in love is effortless, but in relationships, that’s where the real turmoil comes in. Relationships are like puzzles. They take a while to figure out, you lose pieces, and you find pieces, and frankly overall all they are just plain trying at times. However, relationships like puzzles also have a beautiful side; the finished product.
If you’ve ever taken the time to put together a puzzle, you know that putting forth a countless amount of effort to figure out the solution is a given. Sometimes it makes you work harder than you ever presumed, sometimes it’s easy as 1, 2, 3. Regardless, you do what you can to connect all the pieces in the hopes of creating something beautiful; a work of art, a complete picture.
The Truth
Now I’m not saying every relationship is a perfect puzzle, cause then I would be blatantly lying. However, I do believe that when you take a relationship and treat it like a puzzle, building it little by little, you can understand each other better and in the end unbox something amazing. Take it from someone who has had her puzzles broken up, thrown at a wall, and glued back together at the edges. Creating a perfect puzzle is oftentimes easier said than done, however as I’ve come to find out it is possible…and quite the adventure too.
I guess my point with this little blog post is figuring out the relationship puzzle is complicated but worth it. Regardless of how many pieces you may switch out, how scared you may be to finish, relationships are what make life a perpetual jigsaw puzzle in general. So my advice today is don’t ever limit yourself to the relationships you choose because puzzles sometimes come with infinite possibilities…
