Summer. It’s here people: FINALLY.
So get ready to sit in bumper-to-bumper traffic, see some disturbing tan lines, enjoy the pool…and most importantly HAVE SOME FUN! This is exactly what I and the one and only photographer Mark Borja did this week to get this summer started off right.
Along with Scary Kind Productions and some swag from Toasty Shades, Mark and I spent the day shooting some photos and videos to embrace the summer fun! Now I must admit, this collaboration was most certainly one of my favorite shoots to date! After driving around for about an hour to find the perfect location for the shoot, out of a whim we ended up finding the perfect spot at Blythe Landing Park. The park had all the summer essentials we needed: water, the sun, sand…and oh yes. FUN!
Now besides fun, for this particular shoot, Mark and I decided to focus on the classic summer look, which is obviously…the bathing suit. We decided to show several different looks, but particularly a new addition to the classic summer look: the crochet back swimsuit. Personally, this bathing suit style is one of my favorites because it draws attention to the woman’s back, which is said to be the sexiest part!
So, we decided to showcase the look along with some Toasty Shades to make it even sexier!
Toasty Shades, for those of you who don’t know, are novelty sunglasses perfect for tailgates, game days, parties, raves, and more! Thanks to Toasty Shades we were able to showcase during our shoot some sick cheetah and Ryan Gosling-themed glasses, that were perfect additions to our summer fun!
